Stuart Jones has over 25 years of experience in the development and construction industry in both public and private sector roles, with a proven track record for leading development and project teams and delivering projects at scale, and on multiple sites. He has a passion for the built environment and place making and the creation of sustainable developments, homes and spaces where people will want to live and work.
Stuart is currently the Principal Design Manager for Wates in Cardiff leading a team of design managers and document controllers. In addition to having overall responsibility for the Design Management function Stuart is also directly responsible for delivering the predevelopment Cardiff Living programme.
Stuart has worked on MMC and offsite manufacturing projects including working on the development of fully panelised timber frame systems and modular units. In addition, he has worked on low carbon developments and has held positions on several low carbon/sustainability advisory groups and is a member of the RICS and CIH. Stuart is currently working on SUD’s, modular, Passivhaus and Near Net Zero Carbon projects.
