David is the Head of Housing Development and Regeneration at Cardiff Council and is currently delivering the largest council house building programme in Wales. With a remit to build over 4,000 new homes throughout the city and with a focus on specialist and support accommodation, the programme is having a transformational impact on the City’s housing provision.
The award-winning housing development programme is at the forefront of innovation and the drive to a low-carbon future, embracing renewable technology and modern methods of construction.
David oversees a regeneration programme that is focused on delivering investment and services within local communities where it is most needed and ensuring that the needs of local communities are understood.
David works closely with Welsh Government, Local Health Boards and other partner organisations to ensure projects are delivered in a collaborated way and ensuring that positive outcomes are achieved.
